As Vice President, for Richardson Executive Search, Daryl strategically works with senior level leaders, across multiple industries, assisting them achieve their executive level recruitment needs. With over 12 years in leadership recruitment and staffing, Daryl spent the previous 18 years in progressive executive leadership positions with a leading Canadian telecommunications company. In total, Daryl carries over 30 years of diverse leadership, strategy and business operations experience and excellence with a very strong and successful background in building, coaching and developing high performing teams. Daryl is very active in the Calgary community as a junior achievement volunteer, a board member of the W.H.L. alumni association and a volunteer with the Calgary JR A Mountaineers Lacrosse Team.

Sandy Jacobson has a proven track record as an executive search professional and has been in the human resources and staffing industry since 2006. As Vice President, she works with an array of clients spanning from municipalities, not for profits, private and public companies to private equity groups.  She is passionate about her field and brings a strong sense of urgency and customer service to any candidate or client she is representing. Prior to her interest in recruitment, Sandy spent several years in provincial politics, commercial real estate, start up projects and corporate fundraising.  She is a local Edmontonian and is active in her community. She is also the Chair of the Paralympic Sports and a Board Member with the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.

Under Scott’s leadership Richardson Executive Search went from a vision to reality and beyond. His focus is on the company’s long-term vision, brand development, and Richardson’s integration with the other companies within the ECL Group. Scott has 22 years of search industry experience and is passionate about all things people related. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and graduate of NAIT’s Business Administration program. Scott is a proud member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization), past Chapter Chair of the Alberta Chapter, and past President for the Edmonton Chapter Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS). Scott has also been the recipient of the Business Leaders of Tomorrow Award in 2013 and under his direction, Richardson supports numerous charities across Western Canada.

Joleen is no stranger to Richardson Executive Search. She was previously employed with Executrade (also part of the ECL Group) as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and Manager Permanent Recruitment, making her a perfect fit for her present role as Executive Search Consultant in Calgary. Joleen is focused on finding the best candidates for the roles Richardson recruits for, screening potential candidates for the right opportunity, and working closely with the Vice President to meet both client and candidate needs. She possesses a B. Comm. in Communications as well as an RPR, which proves invaluable to her function.

A recent graduate of the University of British Columbia, Courtnie comes to the team with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. New to the Calgary office, her background in client-facing roles  and internal recruitment leaves her well-versed in the business of building and maintaining the long-term and professional relationships Richardson strives for. 

Courtnie’s work is key to starting the executive search process on the right foot, and she will most often be the first point of contact for our top talent. Working closely with candidates via sourcing, writing job postings and conducting pre-screen interviews, Courtnie sets the tone for candidate experience and makes sure the process runs smoothly.

Sydnie’s role is critical to the success of the Edmonton Branch at Richardson Executive Search. Her attention to detail and tenacious personality allow her to work with both candidates and clients to provide the administration, communication and research support required on a wide range of senior c-suite searches. With her background in marketing, she is able to blend creativity with process to bring a fresh perspective to sourcing candidates and promoting our client’s roles across our social media platforms and through marketing initiatives. Sydnie is a passionate people connector and prides herself on being respectful and engaging while working with clients, candidates and coworkers and garners honest and lasting relationships.


Dr.Darryl Moore, Director of Candidate Integration and Optimization

Zest, optimism and grounded thinking: this is exactly how Darryl guides and motivates business leaders and companies.

As Director, he manages our diverse HR solutions, provides leadership training and implements insights from our strategy findings. Darryl has a talent for contributing where gaps lie, offering an energetic, solution-oriented attitude. With a BComm from the University of Lethbridge, MBA from the University of Alberta and a doctorate from the University of Phoenix, he brings unparalleled leadership, analysis and team-building skills.

Darryl’s roots are in Edmonton, and he now sits on the Board of Directors for the MS Society of Alberta and NWT. He hones his compelling communication style at public speaking engagements, such as the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, Aboriginal Business Match and Alberta Women’s Entrepreneurs (AWE) Summit.
